Working on my first plausible app design for a workshop with Jonnie Hallman. It isn’t supposed to focus so much on the branding of the app, so that is a bit thrown together I admit. Fairly happy with how this is going so far, as it’s my first dive into a project like this.
Greg, how is my kerning?

Getting a few things done by the end of the week I hope. Happy New Year!

Creating a website that tracks the mission to Juno in real-time-ish, but first come the graphics.

Systems work for a rebranding project.

A site mock-up that is being worked on for the Coronagraph publication I have been working on this semester in class. Over in that blank spot on the right there will be a system of tags that would allow the user to see the topics that they want to see, and sort out all of the others. It was a strange thing that I noticed when looking through other publication’s sites that they didn’t take it that one step farther and let the user put the publication together for themselves, in a sense.

Taking processing tutorials and destroying them so that I can figure out how they work.

I’ve been working with some interesting ways of digital creation for some of my final projects. I’m currently messing with a pre-made script for Illustrator that plots out points of an image and makes a rendering of it much like a halftone screen, but I’ve twisted it to create different shapes but still have them output vectors. I’ve also made it so that I can process print the layers individually, but that is more of a user function.
I’ve also started a little more development on the front page of my site that might leak its way into the project pages.

Some new posters will be up soon, hopefully just after Halloween.
